Hi! Welcome to my website where I share my work as a freelance stylist and food photographer.
I'm lucky to work with lots of fantastic brands, agencies and photographers across the UK & beyond.
Above you can see a selection of my food photography & content creation. I have a studio in Darley Abbey (Derbyshire) where I can welcome clients or work remotely with your products.
We have a fully equipped prep kitchen and lots of props and backdrops available as part of my food/product photography.
I also work as a stylist with other photographers. You will find a portfolio and testimonials for my work as a commercial still life and prop stylist here.
And for the last few years I've been teaching content creation and styling to individuals, marketing teams and university students. You can read more about my marketing background & coaching work here.
Feel free to get in touch via phone or email, I love talking ideas and helping people get their work/products out there!

We hired Sophie through a recommendation for a Food & Prop stylist for our new drinks packaging shoot, and we’re really pleased she was available! We were really impressed with Sophie’s perfectionist attitude to make sure we got the right shots.
She really goes above and beyond to understand what subtleties need to change to make the photos look amazing. Really pleased with the results and hope to work together again in the future.

I came to Sophie’s beautiful home for a one day food photography styling training session in July and it was absolutely brilliant. Sophie has a lovely nature and I felt immediately comfortable with her.
We talked about the type of style I wanted to create with my images and the different types of food photography there are and then went on to work on five or six different sets of food and props.
She has lots of invaluable little tips that will come in very handy and also explains everything very well so you really take it in, explaining all the different elements and how they work together, or don’t. Things to aim for and what to avoid.

Thank you so much Sophie - absolutely fab (content creation training) session and I've already had glowing feedback from the guys that took part, as well as from others who have seen the photos.
